Welcome from the Hadley Elementary School PTA!
Who We Are
The Hadley Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an inclusive organization open to parents, guardians, family members, students, teachers and community members. We are a non– profit, 501(c)3 organization, and an autonomous group, supported by the Massachusetts PTA and the National PTA.
What We Do
The Hadley PTA builds bridges between home and school. Our goal is to build collaboratively a strong school community through:
Generating funds for academic enrichment programs, support child wellness, and fun family events; Organizing hard-working, dedicated volunteers;
Keeping the school community informed of PTA events, parent concerns, and achievements; and
Focusing on what students need to be successful in their learning.
Become a Member
There is no time commitment required to join the PTA. The more members we have, the more support our children receive. Membership does not have to mean volunteering – becoming a member means that you support the efforts of our PTA through dues, which are $40 per family. Our programs benefits 100% of our children. Members get discounts with companies such as MetLife Auto and Home, Hertz, and Staples. Visit http://www.pta.org/Benefits for details. We hope you will consider joining.
Volunteer
When a parent gets involved with PTA, the child who benefits most is his or her own. Research studies show that kids do better when parents are involved: grades are higher, test scores improve, and attendance increases. Involved parents understand the challenges schools face and become part of the solution. You do not have to be available during school hours to help! Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple of hours, your ideas, time, and talents are needed. Please consider volunteering!
